Prosjekt

MayCoach jobber målbevisst og aktivt med et stort antall ungdommer i samarbeid med lokale organisasjoner/skoler. Mange av disse ungdommene har vokst opp under vanskelige forhold, ofte med daglig vold og rus og i stor fattigdom.

Vi ser at det bor store ressurser i disse ungdommene, og at vi med relativt enkle midler klarer å skape nytt håp for mange.

 

MayCoach jobber for at disse skal få:

Tilbake troen på seg selv, og på at de kan skape seg en fremtid

  • Bryte en ond sirkel med vold og rus
  • Klare en skolehverdag
  • Skape seg en fremtid
  • Klare å forsørge seg selv og sin familie
  • Bli en ressurs for andre og samfunnet
  • Sakte men sikkert påvirke hele samfunnet på en positiv måte
  • Som et ledd i prosjektene våre i Uganda utdanner vi lokale MayCoach representanter
  • Jobber mentalt med lærerene slik at de kan være best mulig støtte for elevene

MayCoach ser at det nytter, og vi har for tiden tre ulike prosjekter på gang (Mbale, Kampala og Kabale).

MayCoach mottar ingen offentlig støtte, men finansierer alt selv og med hjelp av noen private bidrag og gaver.
